Fun Poneytail Holders to Crochet Free Pattern
MATERIALS:

Jamie brand baby yarn in any color or colors you like (I used Pink, Blue, Teal, White and Playtime Print, size E hook, elastic ponytail holders, ribbon pinwheel accents, ribbon roses or anything you wish to decorate holder with, needle and thread.

STRIP:

ROW 1: With E hook and yarn ch-2, sc 2nd ch from hook, ch-1, turn.(1 st)

ROW 2-4: Sc st, ch-1, turn.

ROW 5: 2 sc next st, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)

ROW 6: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.

ROW 7: 2 sc next 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (4 sts)

ROW 8-27: Rep row 6.

ROW 28: (Work next 2 sts tog as 1 in sc dec) twice, ch-1, turn. (2 sts)

ROW 29: Rep row 6.

ROW 30: Sc dec next 2 sts, ch-1, turn. (1 st)

ROW 31-33: Rep row 6. At the end of row 33 fasten off.

PINK PONEY TAIL HOLDER:
Make 10 of the strips in pink baby yarn. With needle and matching thread sew one end over\around elastic band. Continue until all 10 strips are sewn around the elastic band. Sew or glue ribbon roses to the free ends of the strips.

TWO COLOR PONEY TAIL HOLDER:
Make 5 strips in blue and 5 in playtime print. With needle and thread sew ea strip around elastic band. Sew or glue ribbon pinwheels to alternating strips.

PIGGYBACK PONEY TAIL HOLDER:
Make 10 strips in teal. Sew around elastic band as before. Make 10 white strips. Fold the white strips in half and sew on top of ea teal strip.

MATERIALS:

Baby wt yarn in teal, baby yellow, pastel green, baby blue and baby pink, size E hook, needle to take yarn and 6” piece of 1\4” wide elastic.

GAUGE: 6 dc = 1”, 3 rows dc = 1”, ring is about 1\2” diameter

FIRST RING:

With teal and E hook, ch-12, sl st to form a ring.

RND 1: Ch-3, work 5 dc in ring, ch-1, (work 6 dc in ring, ch-1) 3 times, sl st top of beg ch-3, fasten off.

ADDITIONAL RINGS:

RND 1: With next color yarn and E hook ch-12, slip ch inside previous ring, sl st to form a ring, ch-3, work 5 dc in ring, ch-1, (work 6 dc, ch-1) 3 times in ring, sl st top beg ch-3, fasten off.

Work rings in this color order: teal, yellow, green, blue, and pink.

Rep this sequence a total of 3 times or 15 rings.

EDGING:

With pink yarn and E hook join in any ch-1 sp on circle, ch-1, sc sa sp as ch-1, (ch-3, sk 2 dc, sc next st, ch-3, sk 2 dc, over lapping next circle with one working on now, sc through corresponding sts) around ending with ch-3, sl st top beg sc, fasten off.

BAND:

ROW 1: With pink yarn and e hook join in end in ch-3 sp, ch-3, 2 dc sa sp, dc next sc, 3 dc next sp, dc next sc, 2 dc last lp, ch-3, turn. (10 sts)

ROW 2-23: Dc ea st across, ch-3, turn. At the end of row 23 fasten off.

With needle and yarn sew short ends of headband tog to form a lp.

Sew ea end of the elastic on wrong side of piece at the end\beg of rings. Fold plain rows of dc over elastic and sew closed.

MATERIALS:

Baby wt yarn in white, size E hook, needle to take yarn, 6" piece of 1\4" wide elastic and 54 lg round sequins.

GAUGE: 6 dc = 1", 3 rows dc = 1"

HEADBAND:

Thread sequins onto yarn.

ROW 1: With yarn and E hook ch-10, dc 3rd ch from hook, dc ea ch across, ch-3, turn. (8 sts)

ROW 2-30: Dc ea st across, ch-3, turn.

ROW 31: Dc next st, (slide sequin down and against st just worked, dc next 2 sts) across, ch-3, turn.

ROW 32: Dc ea st across, ch-3, turn.

ROW 33-68: Rep row 31-32 alternating. End of row 68 fasten off.

Sew short ends of headband tog to form a lp. Sew ea end of the elastic on wrong side of piece at the end\beg of sequins. Fold plain rows of dc over elastic and sew closed.

1- 5 1\2" Impkin doll, 3 ply Baby Blue Baby Wt yarn, White 3 ply Baby Wt yarn, E crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, 1 small snap, needle & thread.

GAUGE: 6 dc = 1", 3 rows dc = 1" 6 sc = 1", 7 rows sc = 1"

BODICE:

ROW 1: With E hook and yarn, ch-35, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, ch-1, turn. (34 sts)

ROW 2: Sc next 7 sts, ch-8, sk 4 sts, sc next 12, ch-8, sk next 4 sts, sc last 7, ch-1, turn.

ROW 3: Sc ea st and ch across, ch-1, turn.

ROW 4: Sc next 4 sts, sk next st, (sc next 2 sts, sk next st) twice, sc next 12, rep bet () 3 times, sc last 4, ch-1, turn.

ROW 5: Sc next 5 sts, sk next st, (sc next 2sts, sk next st) twice, sc next 6, rep bet () 3 times, sc next 4, fasten off.

SKIRT:

ROW 1: Join rt side facing & bodice up-side-down, ch-3, 2 dc next st, (dc next 3, 2 dc next) 8 times, 2 dc last st, ch-3, turn. (44 sts)

ROW 2-4: Dc ea st across, ch-3, turn. After row 4 do not ch-3, fasten off.

Sew one small snap on bodice.

APRON:

ROW 2: Sl st next 43 sts, ch-3, (dc next 3 sts, 2 dc next st) 8 times, dc next, ch-3, turn. (42 sts)

ROW 3: Dc sa st as ch-3, (dc next 4 sts, 2 dc next st) 7 times, dc next 5, 2 dc last, ch-3, turn. (51 sts)

ROW 4: 2 Dc sa st as ch-3, 3 dc ea st across, fasten off.

APRON "SLEEVE"\RUFFLE:

ROW 1: With rt sides facing you join 13 sts from the end of the apron body itself, ch-1, sc sa st as ch-1, sc next st, ch-1, turn. (2 sc)

ROW 2-17: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn. End of row 17 do not ch-1.

ROW 18: Sl st to last 2 sts of end of apron before tie, ch-3.

ROW 19 (Ruffle): 2 dc 1st row, 3 dc ea row thereafter, fasten off.

Rep other side working rows 1-16, omit row 17, then work rows 18 & 19.

BOWS (MAKE TWO):

ROW 1: With E hook and yarn ch-3, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next ch, ch-1, turn. (2 sc)

ROW 2-3: Sc ea st across, ch-1, turn.

ROW 4: Sc 2 sc together as 1 (dec sc). 1st streamer of bow made.

ROW 5: Ch-3, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc next ch, ch-1, turn.

ROW 8: Sc dec next 2 sts, sl st in 1st ch of ch-2 at bottom of row 5. 1st lp completed.

ROW 10-11: rep row 6-7.

ROW 12: rep row 8. 2nd lp completed.

ROW 13: rep row 5.

ROW 14-15: Sc ea st, ch-1, turn. End of row 15 do not ch-1, fasten off. Sew bow below apron.

SHOES (MAKE TWO):

RND 1: With E hook and blue yarn, ch-9, sc 2nd ch from hook, sc ea ch across, sc ea ch across bottom of foundation ch (in bottom of sts just made), sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. (16 sts)

RND 2-4: Sc ea st around, sl st top beg sc, ch-1, turn. At end of rnd 4 do not ch-1, fasten off.
