HeadLine News Group of Free Vintage Crochet Patterns

Headline News is the name of this free vintage pattern.

The second free vintage pattern for this week is actually a small pamphlet of 4 different designs. All are crochet and around the 1940's in date.

The first one is called a Head Scarf, the second a Facinator and the third a Captivator. I don't know if the different names for basically the same article of clothing is just to separate the three or actual terminology of the time.

The last pattern in the set is a round shawl which is called (of course) a round shawl.

Looks to me like the trio could easily be converted into cowls, shawls and ponchos for a more modern look.

I hope you enjoy them.

I'm working on some vintage children's/baby patterns for next week!

Honey Comb Vintage Crochet Pattern Free!

Here is another vintage pattern from my collection.

It is called Honey Comb and is done in crochet.

I believe the pattern is from the late forties.

Anyone out there like the vintage patterns I've been posting.

So far I've gotten no feed back on the free vintage ones and was just wondering if anyone liked them!

Love to Know!

Free Crochet Pattern Toy Dog

Free Crochet Pattern:

Toy Dog!

It is only 6-1/2" tall and was made with baby weight yarn. As you can see from the picture I did all the accents--ears, paws, nose and mouth--in a contrasting color yarn.

PS all of my free patterns, including this one, is now offered in a printer friendly version!
