Thak you and no, its just a major misspelling!

hmm.. they don't rattle? why not?

Okay, yours didn't rattle. Could be you added too much stuffing around the ornament. I just used enought to pad it lightly, mostly the stuffing is at the top and bottom of the ornament.
Could be you used too small of a container-not the ornament recommended, and what you put inside it is getting stuck.
Could be you didn't put enough inside the "rattle" to hit against the sides and each other, or maybe you put too much inside.
Those are only guesses. Without more information I really don't know why yours didn't rattle.
You can e-mail me anytime at: sales@donnascrochetdesigns.com I'd love to go into this further with you.

I want to make these as a baby gift but can't find the Darice plastic ornament you suggest. As I am unsure about the size of the finished toy, I am curious as to if I could use plastic Easter eggs instead. What did you use inside the ornament to make the noise?

The egg should work fine. Normally where you found the plastic egg shape would also be were the round ones are as well.
I put beads inside of mine. Really anything will work and because they are inside the toy you don't have to worry about choking.

This is a great idea! I'm going o make some for my nieces and nephew for Christmas! Did you just use stuffing in the handle?
