Pop Tab Envelope Purse Free Crochet Pattern with Photo Tutorial

Envelope Style Pop Tab Purse is my latest free pattern. An envelope purse is probably the easiest of all purses to make next to a sack purse. You simply make a long rectangle and fold it into thirds. The top fold is the flap for the purse. The next folds are sewn together at the sides to make the purse.
What makes this purse unique it the fact that pop tabs are used to make the "fabric" for the purse. Because it is made with pop tabs crochet together the purse needs to be lined. To line it, you simply used the finished purse as a pattern (before the sides are sewn), cutting two of fabric making sure to add 1/2" all around for a seam allowance. Sew around edges of fabric leaving an opening for turning. Turn right side out, sew opening closed. Press lining to lay flat and then sew to the wrong side of the purse. Then fold and sew the purse.
Here is a photo tutorial on how to crochet the pop tabs into the "fabric."

Summer Cover-Up, Hat and Tote Set Free Crochet Pattern

This pattern set has instructions for a cover-up, hat and tote just im time for summer. I used Bernat Coordinates in a mix color but solids will look equally as well. The free pattern is here.
What I think is so great with this pattern is that the cover-up can be made to any size. What you do is work enough blocks to go around your bust and then add the netting to that so you can get a custom fit.

Spring Time Doll, Bunny & Chick Vase Doll Free Crochet Patterns

This cute little girl is ready for spring! She's made from one of those air freshener doll you see at most craft stores that you don't know what to do with any more. Pattern here.
She sits atop a clear vase that I have filled with candy. There is even one hiding in her basket!
Now she has turned in a little White Bunny. Pattern here.
Her little hat even has a bunny head and ears on it.
Now she is a chick. Would she look good in several pastel colors all lining a shelf or table?
Fabric paints are what I used to give detail to her hat. Her pattern can be found here
